According to a developing story on the BBC, the fallout from the latest WikiLeaks publications could actually lead to some positives.

What is being touted as “exclusive access” to CIA hacking techniques could be made available to tech firms first before being announced to the general public. Speculation suggests that tech firms gaining first-refusal access to these techniques will enable them to prevent being spied on my government agencies in future.

This news has unsurprisingly been met with negativity by US officials, who are questioning the sincerity of Julian Assange’s offer to tech firms.
